Welcome!

At Rise Therapy, we believe children learn best in the environments where they live, play and grow. We provide mobile, community-based pediatric occupational therapy services that meet children where they are - at home, in childcare settings, parks, community spaces, and other natural environments.

Our goal is to help children develop the skills they need for everyday life while empowering families through collaboration, education, and meaningful participation in daily routines.

Whether your child needs support with sensory processing, self-care skills, fine motor development, emotional regulation, feeding, play, or participation in community activities, we work alongside your family to create individualized, functional therapy experiences that promote confidence and independance.

Meet Lauren Forrest, Founder - MS, OTR/L

As a Moore County native, Lauren founded Rise Therapy with a passion for serving children and families in the community she calls home. Growing up in a rural area, she spent much of her childhood outdoors - exploring, playing, and learning through hands-on experiences.

Those early experiences shaped her belief that children develop best through meaningful play, movement, sensory exploration, connection, and participation in everyday life. Today, she brings that philosophy into every therapy session, helping children build skills within the natural environments where they learn and grow.

Lauren values strong relationships with families and believes that the most successful outcomes occur when everyone works together. She collaborates closely with parents, caregivers, educators, therapists, care coordinators, physicians, and other specialists involved in a child's life to ensure therapy is coordinated, functional, and family-centered.
